The Nightingales Summit was born out of a deep conviction and inspiration from God to see nurses rise beyond limitations and fully realize their God-given potential.
As nurses, we carry enormous responsibility, yet our voices, ideas, and leadership are often underrepresented. This summit exists to change that narrative and restore confidence, purpose, and excellence in the profession.
My vision is to create a platform where nurses are empowered to dream boldly, grow intentionally, and impact lives locally and globally, guided by faith, integrity, and service.
Together, by God’s grace, we are building not just an event, but a movement for excellence, leadership, and transformation in nursing.

History of the Nightingales Summit
The Nightingales Summit was founded in 2024 by Arowosegbe Obafemi David with a vision inspired by God to empower nurses and nursing students to rise beyond limitations and embrace excellence, leadership, and global relevance.
Recognizing the need for a platform that nurtures professional growth, mentorship, and innovation within the nursing community, the summit was created to bridge gaps in knowledge, confidence, and opportunity.
Since inception, the Nightingales Summit has continued to grow as a respected platform for leadership development, innovation, and professional excellence in nursing. Each edition reflects a commitment to raising competent, confident, and globally competitive nurses. Today, the summit stands as a movement dedicated to shaping the future of nursing in Nigeria and beyond.
